The extended inferior orbital rim implants allows augmentation of the inferior orbital rim and support for the lower lid. This allows excellent correction of prominent eye balls / Exophthalmos / Graves Ophthalmopathy. It can also be used in cases of trauma for restoration of the defects. The special properties of BIOPORE™ Implant allows the surgeon to shape a portion of the rim with a scalpel to conform to the contours desired by the surgeon. Two point screw fixation is recommended. |
